Chinook came to us in August of 2017. Previously he lived a wonderful very well cared for and loved life with his original family. Unfortunately his original owner passed away, and the family was faced with having to rehome their fathers horses. They did so very responsibly, This was no easy task and we commend the family for the efforts they went to in finding homes for each horse in their time of mourning. Chinook was thought to have been placed in good hands, when the family found out Chinook was in fact being neglected they reached out to us. And of course we said YES! Chinook just needed TLC and groceries. He does have chronic desmitis in both rear legs, the vet and we suspect from being worked hard while malnourished as well as we noticed he kicks stall walls. So no walls for Chinook. He absolutely adores and loves John since day one. Chinook is now thriving and living the good life!
