Wizard was an older Welsh stallion for sale on craigslist. Being a stallion we felt this put him at risk of falling into the wrong hands so we reached out to the owners and found that they were in a financial bind and really could not afford to feed Wizard much longer. She told us of her fond memories showing him in driving classes and how he was in parades and even pulled her mothers funeral casket. Unfortunately every one that had come to see him so far had been what she felt would be an innapropriate home for him (most wanted to breed him and at his age gelding was a bit of a higher risk - we discussed with our vet as well). Wizard came to live with us. He is now 28 and an absolute lovebug. He  enjoys his walks and very much likes going offtrail and adventuring.
