Smokey came to us in 2012 after a woman found him in what she described as a "Noahs Ark" situation. Apparently a man had been keeping pairs of animals in very small pens, and Smokey was one of those unfortunate souls. She was able to purchase Smokey and a mare from the man, but wanted to find a home for little Smokey so he landed with us. And yes the "Noahs Ark" was dealt with by the Proper authorities. Smokey is a little handful at times, but we have trained him to drive (although I do still lead him since he tends to have a little bit of a wild side!)
