With all the roundups around the country and the loss of Americas wild horses, we decided to step up where we could and participated in the Bureau of land management online auction March 2021. We bid on horses that seemingly had no real interest by other bidders. We won Rue for $35. Prim was won by another bidder, who ended up backing out of their bid, so we had the opportunity to bring her home as well for $25. 
Prim is from the Eagle HMA
Rue is from the Maverick-Medicine HMA
Both will be cared for here, for the rest of their lives.
